Aster’s ideal traits are her wide thurls, her height at frond end, strong pasterns and deep heels, and rear leg side view curvature, but she really shines in the mammary system with her soft udder texture, rear udder height 8 out of 9, and a 9 in rear udder width attachment. She also has well place, long teats which are great for hand milking!
Her weakest traits, which aren’t very weak in themselves, just slightly short of ideal, is her rear leg – rear view, (so slightly hocked in) and slightly low rump angle, the rest of the slightly off ideal traits, can all improve with some growth, such as her height, her udder depth, her medial suspensory ligament and angularity. A beautiful doe, with a bright future!
